It depends. If you are scared half to death (assuming you mean literally and not figuratively) you will recover to be scared half to death again. But if you are scared half to death twice consecutively, it stands to reason that you would die. As two halves make a whole instead of being scared half to death, you would be scared to death.

Let's see... Given the distance to death D your first scare would take you to D/2 distance to death. Since the new distance to death is D/2, the next scare would take you to D/4 or (D/2)/2. There after the number proceed thus D/8, D/16, D/32, D/64, D/128, D/256... In theory, this halving process can be continued infinitely, therefore you cannot be killed by a process of being continually scared half to death.

Assuming that you don't get that life back, you would only have 25% life left. You can be scared half to death many times and never die from it because you will always have 1/2 of your remaining life left.
