I am building a commuter boat with two engines for cruising across a large harbour (5 miles wide). To make my first prototype, I was thinking about buying two identical canoes, connecting them with a platform, keep about 1m of space between them, and put two seats onto the platform. Speed would be about 10 knots max, and the water quite still (harbour). The boat's upper body will be a tent tarp over fibreglass rods, like an igloo tent. Will that cruise and maneuver OK, or am I going to be in trouble?

Although I believe in a higher Power of some kind, I have always had a problem with the Bible...?

church going and the story of Jesus as a God in general since I was a child. So my question is: If I had these questions and doubt since I was a child is my non religious attitude built into my gene makeup or learned from others and my enviornment?
Some info:
We did not go to church as children, but had a very Christian up bringing, yes sir, no sir all that, taught respect for others, punished if we even looked like we were going to act as bigots, in other words brought up like Christians just without the church or Bible reading.
Looking for serious answers, has any one else ever had these same questions as a child?

What is the best prep book for the LSAT?

There are too many to choose from, and all of them claim that they were declared 'the best' by some third party. Which one really is the best? I learn more toward one with a CD-ROM in it with practice tests, because I like hands-on practice. Which book worked for you when you took the LSAT?

why does african (yoruba) santeria alows women to be initiated in the ifa ceremony and cuban santeria does not

many women in yoruba land (where santeria comes from) are initiated in the ifa ceremony, but cuban santeria wont alow this to

Is it two-timing?

I have my g/f and she lives two hours away and we have been dating for 21/2 years now. I am starting to like another girl but dont wnat to end the relationship I am in now. So my real question is, is it ok to date/get to know the other girl while being the relationship with the other. Should two, three, four, five year-olds go on a school fieldtrip that requires a three-hour drive?

My child's preschool is coming up with a fieldtrip that's out of town. The bus will have to go off-road and out of the city, just to get to the destination! Parents have to come, because the kids are all under five or five. Mine's five. I do not feel comfortable with this idea because it's an off-road terrain, we're very unfamiliar with the place, and a three hour ride in a bus is more than what my five year old can handle! Plus, when we get there, we won't have time to rest. The day will be packed with killer whale shows, a dolphin show, sea lion show, ocean life conservation show, underwater museum tour, ocean museum tour, and swimming! Then we all get back into the bus and drive back! These kids are toddlers and five year olds! Not sixth graders! I feel that this fieldtrip is not age-appropriate, and I don't feel safe about it. Especially w/ all the terrorism going on, and the destination is near American military base is. We live in the philippines.We r American & Spanish.

Masterbation and prostate?

Lately I i have been getting these involuntary movements or convultions or twitches and i think its my prostate because i feel it from the end of my testicals to my anus. I just want to know what the heck this is and should i get it checked out? It doesnt hurt, but it really feels wrong. Is there anything wrong with my prostate. It happens when after i masterbate and i dont really masterbate that often. (seriouse question looking for seriouse answer)
