Great book called "Lies My Teachers Told Me" which gives the most accurate account (and it's rather brief) of american history from the time before "discovery" to the present day.

What about searching for such a thing on google or that american history.gov homework site? im not sure what the address is but i've seen the commercial lots of times... it might be pretty helpful, no?
