My daughter walked down a long aisle to Canon in D
It was elegant & beautiful - she could glide to the music giving her train a chance to fall gracefully behind her instead of wanting to rush to music. Everyone comment on the beauty of the music - It did not distract from her but enhanced the moment. The pipe organ did not hurt any either. When she picked it I was not sure of her choice, but I was wrong it was beautiful.

AMEL LARRIEUX
Make Me Whole
Darling I want you to listen
I stayed up all night, so I can get this thing right
And I don't think there's anything missing
Cause a person like you, made it easy to do
I've waited for so long, to sing to you this song
Cause your eyes are the windows to heaven
Your smile could heal a million souls
Your love completes my existence
You're the other half that makes me whole
You're the only other half that makes me whole
I think the angels are your brothers, yeah
They told you about me, said you're just what she needs
And I find myself thanking your mother
For giving birth to a saint
My spirit flies when I say your name
If there's one thing that's true
It's that I was born to love you
Cause your eyes are the windows to heaven
Your smile could heal a million souls
Your love completes my existence
You're the other half that makes me whole
You're the only other half that makes me whole
You make my dreams
Come true over and, over again
And I honestly truly believe
You and me are written in the stars
I live my whole life through
To giving thanks to you
Cause your eyes are the windows to heaven
Your smile could heal a million souls
Your love completes my existence
You're the other half that makes me whole
You're the only other half that makes me whole
The lyrics are sweet but wait to you hear the song, it's absoultely beautiful - listen to it! I love it so much I would get married again to walk down the aisle to this!

I'm walking down the aisle to 'everything', by Lifehouse. Each of my bridemaids are walking down to a verse or the chorus, and there is a point towards the end of the song where intstruments just open up (its very slow up to then), and the singer says 'you are all I want, all I need, my everything, everything...'and doors are going to open up and I am going to start walking down.
Of course, I'll be mouthing the words to my hubby, and I'll be crying up a storm and look like a mess...
Hope you will look better! Seriously, it's a good song for you to walk for...I'm shocked more people havn't used it..its very emotional, and incredibly touching...

I chose Ave Maria. The whole bridal party went down to it and I came down when the key changed. It was very elegant, different and beautiful.
