Words, sometimes, are not the best choice. Why not a gesture or a winking ?

If you want him to respect you, you have to start out by trusting and respecting him enough to let him know clearly and directly how you feel. Even if he doesn't feel the same way about you, he can't help but respect your courage in talking to him directly, rather than wimping out and trying to use a third-party go-between. I've had women tell me they like me, and it's hugely flattering, and I've never forgotten them; things may not work out, but I can promise you, you will make an impression on him, and he'll remember you and respect you for it--and that's never a bad thing!
Remember, you get an instant +10 on the charisma scale and an added +5 on the sexiness scale by being confident and direct, and that can be enough to shift someone from the "maybe" category to "damn, she *is* hot stuff" category. Going through a friend or other indirect method gets a -2 in both categories, though, because he won't feel like he was worthwhile enough to deserve your direct attention, and he'll be thinking of the person delivering the message, not *you* -- and that's not something you want happening if you want him to be thinking about how he feels about *you*. So, take advantage of the natural boost to your charisma and sexiness that talking directly to him brings, and give it a shot.

And, if things *do* work out, you'll be starting off the relationship on a good footing of mutual respect and trust, which is really important for keeping the lines of communication open between you. And that is the number one most important thing for any long-term relationship!

So, start off on the right foot by communicating your feelings clearly and simply; whether or not he feels the same way about you, you'll still come out ahead, with more confidence in yourself, and the added respect of someone else.
Go for it, and good luck! :)

Personally I wouldnt just go up and tell him that you like him or have a friend do it because you could end up with your feelings hurt if he doesnt feel the same way. I would start talking more to him and slowly start flirting. He should get the hint and if he feels the same way he will ask you out and then you can tell him that you have liked him for awhile.

No, never send someone to be your messenger. That's a big turnoff. Show him you're a confident, intelligent, and independent woman and tell him you like him. It's the 21st Century! Don't limit yourself with 19th Century ideals!

If you send someone else to your deeds it will never turn out the way you want it to. Never send a letter. Always talk face to face. Say to him listen how do you look at me. or say listen I like you and I wanted to know if you like me. I know it soundy corny but believe me being straight forward is 100 times better then watching your friend who was suppose to tell him you like him instead she told him she likes him ....

i think of she likes you. yet while she is the flirt you describe her as, she ought to easily as surely be twiddling with you. yet i dont think of thats probable. you ought to attend it out. if she fairly likes her she'll ruin up together with her boyfriend quickly. then she might decide so you might take the lead. the worst that should ensue is that she says no. in simple terms dont make a circulate until eventually shes single :]

That is a very immature way of going about it. A guy will respect you more if you talk to him directly.
