My ex and I broke up when I left for college because the long-distance was too hard for him to handle. We remained very close friends and I still am madly in love with him. I recently found out he had a new girlfriend and it broke my heart. I told him I can't talk to him anymore and he broke down saying that he loves me and wants to be with me...its just so hard because I am so far away. He confessed his passion and love for me...saying that he wants to be with me but we are just both living separate lives right now. I don't know what to do because I still love him so much and strongly feel like we will get back together someday. Does he realy still love me and is using this new girl for sex? He calls me all the time to check in and see how I am..tells me he misses me ad everything. I am so confused and emotionally torn! Any advice?

Having arrived at the edge of the river, the fisherman soon realized he had forgotten to bring any bait. Just then he happened to see a little snake passing by who had caught a worm. The fisherman snatched up the snake and robbed him of his worm. Feeling sorry for the little snake with no lunch, he snatched him up again and poured a little beer down his throat. Ok well my son who is 4, he has beenhaving a really hard time listening to me and, being really mean and I guess you would say careless, well I have a cat and he stepped on him with one foot and lifted the other one up and had all his weight on my cat.. What do you think might be wrong with him, is there something I shouldbe doing better. Iam so worried about him, not only cause he is acting out and he could hurt himself but also other living thigs, and he does not take care of his things. I am noticing from talking to my single friends women at the age of 30 and above don’t’ necessarily require a relationship for sex. In fact it seems the roles of what men and women want begin to switch. The men tend to want to cuddle more and are cool and kind of look forward to women spending the night. While on the other hand the women are just like…well I will call you and then they are out. They don’t expect to even want to have the intimacy they seem to want when they were younger. I am totally over generalizing but you get the idea. It is not like all women or even most women are near, at, or over 30 think this way. I am also generalizing men saying most want to have a meaningful intimate experience and not just meaningless sex. Do you think the ultimate downfall of the human race will be because of the growing conflicts between the various religions throughout the world?

Its an honest question for any who would care to comment and I don't mean to offend any religious view and/or beliefs anyone holds. It just that I have noticed that the major conflicts throughout humankind's history have revolved around differing religious views, i.e., the Romans at one point persecuting Christians, Hilter's persecution of Jews, the current conflict surrounding Islam. I wonder if at some point the conflict between various religious beliefs and views will become so intense that it will eventually cause the human race to decline to extinction.

Example:

A couple of people at my work said things about me within earshot, and I wrote them down. When I contronted them about it, they denied having said it, and said I was "broadcasting" and/or "hearing things."

Whenever I tried to rebuttal the statement with what I heard and wrote down, my mother said that I "thought [I] heard something and wrote down maybe what [I] thought [I] heard."

This is extremely insulting to me because I was within 3-4 feet of the person and it was a quiet room and they spoke very clearly and were not whispering. It was normal conversation in tone and volume.

Now my mother wants me to try Abilify for my "delusions" and "voices." This is again insulting to me because she knows I have a past history of paranoid schizotypia (which is false because I only respond to what I heard or see, not what I internally believe...e.g. I only form a hypothesis or belief based on external stimuli).

Thoughts? How do I respond to her retort?

Kinda morbid, but I am curious. Should someone start bleeding copiously, what would the medical implications be regarding only the lack of blood? If the bleeding was staunched at the time they pass out , would they regain consciousness without a transfusion or would the shock be too great for them to recover naturally?

Generally speaking I mean, every case varies etc.
