if i'm not wrong,my friend from compassvale told me that she has to change outta her uniform just to go out...ridiculously lame!i think the principal is afraid that they will tarnish the school's reputation.

School Uniform are to worn in schools, not at shopping mall !
Who knows whether the kids is skipping school when seeing them in shopping centres ?
If they are found quarrelling or fighting in school uniform, or even shoplifting ! The name of the school may be tarnish.

singapore has strict rules regarding school kids on where they can be, or not be. they don't allow them in shopping centres, or video arcades etc from 7am-6pm. whether in uniform or not.

Uniform is for going to school not shopping.
I think is the behaviors of student. so the school stop them because they don't want bad behave student to show their school U.

God I hate Singapore local schools.
I used to live there for 5 years and i went to "regent sec."
I think that's stupid how they think you'll "ruin the schools reputation."
