I know this girl she lives w/ her bf and his grandmother. The girl and the bf have a baby together and she will be 1 on the 21 of this month. Ever since that baby was 4 months she has been eating cookies and all kinds of junk food. at about 8 months still eating junk food and they took her off her formula and started giving her regular milk. Except the thing is even w/ the regular milk which is bad for a baby they never give her white milk, its always chocolate. The put her to sleep with chocolate milk and everything. This baby is turning 1 and my daughter is 2 years and 2 months and they weigh the same. I've tried telling them the baby is going to be overweight but they don't seem to care. They said the baby wants it. If they never gave it to her in the first place then she woldn't even know what it is. I'm worried about the baby. She is pretty large.

Hey, i thought one of the things they recommend to combat pains from hemorroids etc, is to eat more fiber.. but i eat plenty of it and i still have pains.. And my stool is not hard or anything.. that's not even a problem. I just get pains while doing my daily stuff. .. But so why raisin bran doesn't help me? do i have to eat some special type of fiber?

I am 26 and still financially dependent on my family. My father tries really hard to be a respected man around everybody else and is a successful businessman. When it comes to his home matters, he is either very very distant or very very critical. He has been drinking heavily every day for the last 15 years, and my mother is in constant dispute with him about it. A few months ago, he came home drunk and picked up a fight with my mother and I, about how he has to go to important dinners by himself because my mother refuses to go to events where drinking is involved. When I said I had nothing to to do with this, he barged into my room, starting insulting me and then slammed the door. I yelled F**k off, and he came back in and slapped me in the face really hard. I had a bruised face for a week. He is often harsh and angry but never before was physical. I live alone now and hasn't spoken to him since although he apologized. I'm having a hard time putting all this into perspective. Help!

I was very smart but more importantly very verbal as a kid and this meant I naturally pulled towards grown-ups more and other kids figured I was weird. I grew up a loner, to this day I don't have any friends, like seriously none whatsoever and it doesn't actually bother me all that much. I was in college 4 years and my fellow students said it took almost that whole time to get to know me but they do like me.
The only thing is I notice a serious dysfunction when trying to get to know people nowadays. I went along on a few day's trip and gig with some people I didn't really know and I thought I was doing ok but afterwards they tell me I'm so negative and just an awful person etc. Only two out of fifteen even spoke to me to begin with (and stopped day 2)
I have an educated, sweet, popular boyfriend who loves me so I can't be thàt hainous?
I'm due to start a new job and I'm petrified I'm going to come across badly and they'll hate me. I honest to god thought I was being 'regular'.

This admission that he, a politician, is not prepared to deal with the politics of an important issue like AIDS seems to be an admission of his incompetence. In general, one would think that politicians would be prepared to deal with political issues. Don't you think that it would be better for the country if he stepped aside and let people who would be willing to deal with the politics of important issues take charge of our government?
