Water, water and more water.

I don't know what you mean by 'decent' but if you truly want a flatter tummy quickly, then you should be drinking at minimum, 1 gallon of cold water per day.

Drinking large amounts of water facilitates the fat loss process. Your kidneys require lots of water to function properly. If your kidneys do not get enough water, your liver takes over and ssumes some of the functions of the kidneys.

This diverts your liver from its primary duty which is to metabolize stored fat into usable energy. So, your fat loss stops, or will plateau.

It increases urine production. the more you are able to eliminate , the more heat, calories and fat. An 8 ounce glass of cold water burns 7.69 calories. That's the amount of energy your body needs to heat it to core temperature. Drink a gallon during the day and you've burned 123 calories.

P.S. There is absolutely no evidence that proves artificial sweeteners promote weight loss.

See the link below...after reading the following:

Water is the best natural fluid. The formula that I use is to take my body weight, divide that number by 2 (half it), and to consume that many ounces of water per day. It flushes the system; however, tummy flattening is accomplished by exercise...more often than diet. When I twirled baton, the arm postures and marching helped me to tighten my abdominal muscles and develop tone. The water regimen will reduce the amount of bulk in your digestive tract...you may want to consider a fiber producing product to cleanse the digestive tract.

Have you considered some of the vegetable juices available in the vegetable aisle of grocery stores...they are delicious...once one has acquired a taste for them. It is healthy and digestively prudent to enjoy vegetables this way. I like 'green goodness (tm))'.

weight loss plan drinks are ok moderately. in case you've soda, then via all skill choose for the load loss plan. If the synthetic sweetener concerns you (and on that concern, what does not supply you maximum cancers anymore??!?!??!), then choose for the load loss plan sodas that use splenda. be careful what you drink, although. at the same time as some sodas proudly reveal 'weight loss plan' on the label, you may nevertheless study the label to learn the quantity of sodium, sugars and caffeine interior the drink. All of those factors in severe quantities during the day could make contributions to weight earnings. decrease your self to a minimum of one or 2 an afternoon and drink a lot of water. in case you could no longer take water (i in my opinion do no longer in basic terms like the blandness) attempt Propel, or one in each and every of the different flavored waters with very low energy. a hundred% juice is likewise sturdy to have moderately.

Water is the best but if you can also help cleanse your system by drinking 100% cranberry juice. They make some really great juice blends if you don't like just the taste of the cranberry. I personally like the peach/cranberry the best. You can also spice up your ice cold water at home with some fresh lemon juice. I usually squeeze one slice into a regular drinking glass and it perks it up.

GIRL!!! don't drink stuff that has artificial sweetners like Splenda or Equal or the pink stuff they actually BLOAT you...eat stuff that has lots of fiber so your body will adjust to the amount of fiber and drink lots of water, then your body will get rid of all the extra water you retain and you'll look slimmer. Also you could go get a body wrap for a quick fix...

Crystal Light is sweetened with aspartame. Not a good choice. Water with lemon or lime juice - squeeze from the fruit only.
Green tea unsweetened is good also. It works well hot or cold.

This Darden theory (above) is a lot of bunk.

You're doing fine. Don't worry about trying to drink "lots" of anything. There's no benefit in drinking more than you're thirsty for - despite what all the folklore (see other responses above) says. And if anyone tells you that you "need" to drink at least 8 glasses a day...

water is always a safe bet. diet drinks may have 0 calories, but some studies have shown that the chemicals in them can stimulate your appetite. plus they tend not to have any nutritional value. at least water is good for the body. i'd stick with water. anything else is adding calories.
