Owing to games available, I go with XBox

PS2 has WAY more games available due to the orignal Playstation lineup (not even close) but Xbox is a newer hardware platform with more recent killer titles. So... Xbox
At this point the argument should be which new system will be better for the next 5 years- PS3 or Xbox 360... We'll find out soon!

Make a list of games u like on ps2 and ones on xbox the one the most games u like go for. Ps2 has a good line up but the xbox is more powerful and aslo has a brillant line up of games.

Xbox !!!! I had all three consoles and traded my ps2 and gamecube in and got some xboxs games.. you can't play ur own soundtracks on ps2.. you can on xbox ..plus you can get xbox live !!!!!

you may want to keep on such as your unique PS2 instincts. You reported you want RPG's and fighters. they don't truly have those for the Wii. The Wii is meant for children and "non-recreation enthusiasts" in accordance to Nintendo... microsoft totally crashed sony. microsoft has so much better graphic designs and the xbox generation is awesome. only thing playstation generation has on the xbox generation is the PSP. Portable is good. i wouldnt be surprised to see a xbox portable system by 2007 or 2008 christmas season.

XBOX. While both systems have die hard fans, the xbox is more advanced technologically and graphically speaking.
