I think religion is more like personal or cultural experience. How can you be praying the psalms for example when the words in the prayer are David's own problems and situations he was in then? Prayers are supposed to reflect someone's own experience and so is religion.

My 4 year old nephew hates the taste of toothpaste... even children's toothpaste and I can't get him to brush all of his teeth...he keeps sticking his tounge out whenever he puts the brush in his mouth, like a refex... i don't know what to do...any suggestions?

Are there any good books out there for someone who's not a professional, who just wants to be prepared if a situation comes up. So I can know what to do before the ambulance arrives or if help is going to be awhile. I've looked at some wilderness first-aid books but they don't describe how to know the difference in sypmtoms if someone was having a heart attack or a cardiac arrest. Those are just examples. Thanks for any help.

I think Pete is far more genuine with his feelings than Nikki.
Yeah she had a crush becuase of the situation of been in the house and having nothing better to do. When Others pair off it seems normal to feel lonely and needy but noting else about that house is real life or normal.
I really don't believe a young woman would have such a change of heart if there was nothing to gain from doing so. Nor would she ever look at a odd ball like Pete who wears strange clothes and make up and has issue and is slightly wierd. Been the b!tch she can be she would be the 1st to call them a freak if they were not good looking (nothing Pete against him he's cool!) But Nikki would not have looked twice if she met Pete outside the house i am sure of it.

All of the bible was written in the time when Jesus was alive and could verify what was written. It was written by his disciples and faithful followers that walked in his light. The book of Mormon was DISCOVERED by someone AFTER Jesus was crucified. Jesus could not have verified that that was a part of his gospil. Also, why do Mormons believe Jesus was not the son of God when they supposedly believe the Bible and that is what the Bible CLEARLY states??

Seriously. I see parents advocating no timeouts, no spankings and no firm talks, and touting "reasoning" with young children. So...exactly how do you do this with a person that a minimal attention span, and no concept of consequence. How can you teach them about the consequences of bad behavior by "reasoning" with them? Whe are they supposed to learn this by your theories? Or, is is A-OK for your child to bite you, strangers, and other family members to his heart's content with no reprocussions? Just curious.
