It is not psycally possible to lose that much weight in a year without surgery. I would say this is something you need to discuss with your doctor.

Hi there!

First off, good for you for addressing the problem.

I would start by limiting your calories to no more than 2000 per day. Try to get this over 5 meals of about 400 calories each. Then try to be as active as you can. This should do the trick.

I believe this answers your question, but if not let me know.

Good luck with your diet and fitness goals!

Hi
This plan really works so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

good luck

Gastric Bypass/lapband/gastrectomy/gas... obesity Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges gastric bypass surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as gastric bypass surgery is not covered by insurance.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your obesity surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.If you still havent got your surgery done, you are better off getting it done in India.

my cousin got her gastric bypass surgery in India through the forerunners healthcare and she is more than very happy with the results. She paid very less. She has lost 65lbs in 5 months already.I think she paid 9000$ for which she was quoted 32000$ in a chicago hospital
hope this helps

300 lbs in a year is probably too ambitious without an operation of something. Try gradual incremental change which will lead you to a healthier lifestyle. Watch what you eat and exercise. it's difficult, but worth it in the end

Please, you need to see a doctor to lose that kind of weight safely. Are you really going to depend on us yahoos for this kind of medical advice? You are talking about serious strain on your heart and other organs. And plaque can be dislodged from arterial walls when losing that kind of weight which is very dangerous.
