how do you develop or work on your independence? Here's an example, I want to do a beat with the bass drum and keep the hi-hat at quarter notes, but when I try, I do the bass notes on the hi-hat or vice-versa. thanks and God bless you all.

I really need some tips with my older daughter. She only says a few words and is ready to potty train. she understands what I say the majority of the time. I'm just having a hard time with the potty training. She won't go on the potty. And takes all her poo out of her diaper after she goes! It's horrible! Please help! Has anyone ever gone through this? Please help! Any suggestions would be more than appreciated! I'm getting so tired of cleaning and sanitizing and scrubbing my carpets!

I met a man that said he was looking for a relationship on the personals. After months of contact, he dropped the bomb that he was only looking for a casual sexual liason and asked if i would agree stating the ad said he wanted a relationship to attract women. I refused and we kept in touch because he said the more he got to know me the more attached he got and we could get somewhere 1/2 yr. later I wanted to move forward & he said he just wanted to be friends & did not want to hear that he led me on. I blew him of a couple weeks and my next call was to tell him I don't want friends w/benefits, don't want just friends either, am ticked he led me on for months before the initial warning and unless he wants a relationship I am done. He is really, really stubborn and doesn't like being told what to do, but I was at my wits'end and thinking I had nothing left to lose. Was it wise to turn down the friendship bid and issue an ultimatum?

I have tried changing the sound card to another pci slot but it still won't work. My computer also has onboard sound ports. When my agp video card was in there I could use my Soundblaster card. Now that I replaced my blown out agp card with a pci video card my sound card won't work. I am stuck using my inferior onboard sound driver at the moment. Is there a way to get both the pci video and sound cards working together and disable the onboard sound?
