There are spots from every time he urinates, and I am getting tired of reseeding. I know plenty of people who have dogs and their yards don't look like this. There must be a solution. Please don't say get rid of my dog! He is a family member.

We have a lot of deer in the yard, and he likes to pee everywhere they do, apparently! I will be looking for the Green Grass tablets. I hope that works. Seems like the simplest solution.

There are these supplements called "Green Grass" by Nutri-Vet that are sold at Petco. They really do work! Our vet OK'd them and we've been giving them to our female lab for about a year. You get the best results if you continue to water your lawn daily or so to dilute the urine even more. Good luck.

Try pouring water with a mix of lemon dishsoap. The lemon dishsoap is suppose to help brown spots on grass when mixed with water and amonia. Just the water would probably dilute the pee enough but if it doesn't try the lemon mix.!c semon soap,1 c amonia, and put that in a bottle that is connected to your water hose and run 20 gallons through. You will be treating the yard, getting rid of mosquitos(apply 3 times wk), and helping your pee problem.

Train your dog using a leash to urinate on only one spot. It is possible.

There is a new dog toilet out, it's expensive though. It uses fake grass with an attractant in it. You can buy a spray that you can use as an aid, only on the part where you want your dog to go which will attract it. There are also special rocks that you can get (can't recall the name offhand, sorry) that stop the grass from dying off where the dog wees.

I have actually seen some tablets you can give a dog for this problem. I think it is called green grass. There might also be some stuff you can add to his water, called the same thing, or something different I don't know for sure. But I used to work at PETCO and we sold stuff for it so if you want you could go to one near you and ask them about it and see if they have anything. :) Hope this helps

Heh. When I was a kid, if we saw her squat we'd run out and dump a jar of water right on top of the spot. Probably gave her a complex (if that's possible for a dog), but it seemed to dillute it enough that it cut down on the brown spots a lot.

The chemical makeup is too strong for the grass. You can water the affected area after he goes... and try to get him to use different sections of the yard. Best of luck!

Never heard of that happening with a male dog, it's usually from female dogs, or bitches as they are more commonly known.
