It seems like most people I know intend to live in their hometown their whole lives. At most a person is willing to move to another part of their own country, preferably where they have family. I have been in California for two weeks with my sister Peggy who is waiting for a liver and in the advanced stage of critical liver cancer.
When she answered the door I was almost reduced to tears as she was a skeleton of her former self with a swollen stomach and legs from water retention.
Since I have arrived she is much worse.

I'm 24 and nowhere near to getting married, but I see all my friends from high school getting married and it freaks me out! Is it normal to be afraid of getting married, most women I meet can't wait to get married. I feel like I should be trying to settle down or something. Has anybody else experienced this??? Where everyone around them is settled with the house and wife and the kids and the dog - but you're not and it freaks you out. Please help I feel like such a freak of nature!

I am Christian and I can say that the way I believe makes me feel good about myself because I feel like I am doing something for the good of myself and my family.I am helping my family have morals and live life happy.I'm not perfect but really who is?I feel like I can acomplish anything.My heart feels great because this religion helps me not be hatefull or judge people and it makes me happy.Whats so wrong with a religion that makes people happy and doesn't condone violence or anything immoral?I was a full atheist just 5 years ago.

The nine gifts of the Spirit are listed in (1cor 12:8-11)
For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom;
to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
to another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts
of healing by the same Spirit; to anohter the working of
miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of
spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the
interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh the one
and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally
as he will.
The gifts of the Spirit show the power of God while the
fruit of the Spirit shows the character of God. There are
some of God's power that He cannot entrust us with if
we do not have His character. In order to have more of
the operation of God's power in our lives, we must first
seek His character.(Gal 5:22)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:
against such there is no law.
The fruit of the Spirit balances the Gifts of the Spirit.
There are nine Gifts and there are nine Fruits.
