I have been in California for two weeks with my sister Peggy who is waiting for a liver and in the advanced stage of critical liver cancer.
When she answered the door I was almost reduced to tears as she was a skeleton of her former self with a swollen stomach and legs from water retention.
Since I have arrived she is much worse.
