I need your advice:

My 2 sons spent 7 days at their father. All went well. Dad's girlfriend took good care of them.

Today, my oldest told me that the girlfriend of their father said she is their half-mother.
My son was quite upset about this. I was even more upset.
Before this happened, I explained to him that he only has one father and one mother and that nobody will replace either one of them.

Would you calmly talk to their father if you were in my situation?
If yes, what would you say to him?

May be I am worrying for nothing but I feel this is not something to say to a child.

I have a new plasma screen tv that was plugged in during a storm and afterwards the screen is all static but when i play dvds on it, it seems fine. I was wondering what is wrong with it and is it expensive to fix? It wasnt plugged into a surge protector which was stupid but is there anything i can do?

There's a trail of brown spots in the carpet near my door. They weren't there when we moved in, but have no idea what they are, my best guess is that it's from a leaky trash bag.

I've tried Resolve, Borax, and some random carpet cleaning product from Sears along with a lot of scrubbing.

Ok I'm like addicted to Guacomole...So I would like to know some authentic easy recipes for it. And some nice chicken soft taco recipes to go with it...easy simple to put together for the family...I'm not an onion fan or big any kind of pepper fan either. I don't mind a lil bit of the pepper seasonings though. Thanks in advance for helping me settle my Guacomole cravings!!!

I've tried to find out but can't.
I just want to know how to watch tv on my flat panel monitor that has a computer hook up. Is there some kind of splitter or something that I have to buy in order for a line out AV from my TV to fit into my monitor input?

For me, it was forgiving my father for being an alcoholic, and for being drunk the last time I saw him. After he died, I only felt remorse for not making peace with him when I had the chance. I feel ashamed to this day for holding a grudge against him.
