I recommend Pantene Pro-V conditioner. It's amazing and I can't live with out it. I also recommend a product called "Repair & Shine" (it's by a company called Farouk Systems) it's a little expensive but a little goes a long way. If you put too much in, your hair gets greasy...you need like half a dime size-dime size depending on hair length, thickness and how much you have. Also maybe do a hot oil treatment or a hair masque once a week, or once every two weeks.

I agree with dahorton40 on the Pantene thing. Sunsilk for dry hair (the pink kind) is great, and try misxing one half cup of milk and honey and mix until creamy. Use in the shower or bath, and keep in hair and massage into hair roots and ends. You will have some satisfying results in the end!

bio-silk is the best answer here, AVOID pantene its great for short term use but the longer you use it, it builds up to the point that a hairdresser can actually scrape off the residue, its because of the methylparabin derivatives in that and other low cost shampoos , every shampoo has it but always read the label the higher in the ingredient list the more it has in it, first should always be h2o

Slather your hair with a large amount of mayonnaise (yes, mayonnaise) and leave it on your hair. Wrap hair in Saran Wrap and leave on your hair for about an hour (you will smell like a sub but it works). Rinse in the shower and then wash, and apply generous amount of a heavy duty conditioner.

Sometimes a cut works wonders. My hair looked like crap and I chopped it off. I'm growing it out again now. The Sheer shampoos work too. I'm Blonde so I use Sheer Blonde.

The new Pantene Restoratives shampoo and conditoner have done wonders for my over permed and over colored hair. You have to be patient, it takes time for the damage to get fixed, but remember it didin't get damage overnight either
