How old are you and how old is the guy? I mean age difference doesn't matter too much BUT when your really young it does...It also depend's if you both are at the same maturity level and have the same interest. ect. ...Also is he looking for mainly sex just for having sex or just want sex some because he really loves you and want to be with you...If he tries to push you do stuff that's not good then drop him...but is he's a nice guy and you both really love each other aslong as it's not a crazy age difference like 20 years then it's fine. Love happen's and you can't really control that....My boyfriend is alot older too and he is amazing...I love him w/ all my heart and know he is a great person and our relationship has been 3 and a half year's in October....I really am inlove with him...If you want to talk more you can alway's email me but I think age difference is fine aslong as real love is there.

You didn't state your own age, but age only matters when we're young. The gap closes as we get older. If you're like 20 talking about someome who's 32 - yes, the gap is likely too large. If you're 40 talking about sometone 12 years older - it's just different.

Well how old are you? If you are like 12, thats VERY bad! but i met my now husband when i was 16, and now am 22 and still with him and married. I was way to young to get married, but the age difference is no big deal. Sometimes it makes a difference say when i want to go out to party, and he doesnt ,but that doesnt happen a lot.
So go for it girl.. anyway men behave half their age, so really you have the same mental ages! lol

It does sometimes depend on how old you are; if you are 16 and he's 28, that's a big age difference. I'm in my 20s and my boyfriend is 13 years older than me, and we have a lot in common. I think you'll be fine.

I don't think age matters in a relationship as long as you're comfortable with each other and most important care a lot for each other. Personally i prefer older and mature men.

Age is more than physical, depending on the gene pool. My grand dad was 35 and grandmother was 16. They had 15 kids. He lived to be 99, she into her 80s.

Everything else being equal, it is the matching of souls that really counts. I think a lot of people are missing their soul mates these days due to inability to see past the envelope.

Bring all your senses to your relationships. When you don't use them all there is usually trouble ahead.

If you're happy, it doesn't matter. :) I think the weirdness with dating older people is just third-party perspective most of the time. Now, if you were 30 and he was 80, then there would be a problem. (: You're safe! <3 Have fun!

I don't think age matters. I think it depends on how mature the two of you are. And it also depends on where each of you are at in your lives. If you two are ready to take the same steps and make the same decisions. So, good luck....do what is best for you.

No, 12 years is not such a big difference. Good luck to you both.
