I remember when I was a little girl, my scientist grandfather set up his sundial with concern to direction and something about the Northern Hemisphere to get the correct time.
I bought one because it reminded me of him, but I cannot remember how to set it.

I use a standard pinch collar on my German Shepherd, and I find that I don't have the finger strength to undo the links, so to put it, on I have to slip it over my dog's head. It's not very effective as a pinch collar if it's loose enough to fit over her head. So, I was wondering if anyone knew of a pinch collar that had an easier to work with way to get it on and off the dog, maybe a quick release clasp or something. I've tried a choke collar, but it's just not effective with my dog.

Picked up a computer from Salvation Army today (Pentium1) and it has DOS on it, dos 6.2 I believe. Where can I learn about this OS? Was it a good OS in it's day. I know it is old and everything is Windows now, but I was just curious about Bill Gates first opeating system.

I have more about my 20 y/o. Since he was 12, he wanted to join the Marine Corp. He has been working on his weight and spending a lot of time studying military stuff. He said his date to enlist would be July of this year, this was January when he told me. I have tried to contact people we knew in Minnesota, nobody really made any effort. I had surgery last month, I wanted to make sure he was o.k. before this was done, in case anything went wrong. Needless to say, I'm going great.

My concern is, either he has enlisted and I can't reach him at all or he's having trouble and is too ashamed to tell me. He had a cell phone, but it's not in service anymore. As a mother, I have addressed quite a few issues with him. My biggest fear is that he is in boot camp and will be deployed to the war within a year.

I have read a lot of answers for my previous questions and I am very grateful. I have his email address also. None of that matters if he is unable to respond to me.

have they taken advantage of you? i purchased in april they changed contract after i singed it! call aggitaite but refuse to pick up car how long do i have to put up with them. they call make threats but never do anything after you tell them to come and get it howlong do i have to wait before they will leave me alone or shoud i bring legal action against them are they lazy or what one suppervisor told me the car was not there problem. what would you do they tried to charge me 43,000.00 for a 06 corolla
