As long as you're getting paid, what's the deal? lol I'm just kidding...but it's nice that you want to get them involve in something besides electronics. Make up a game, like a scavenger hunt in the house and in the backyard. If they find everything on the list, have a prize ready for them. Make crafts and teach them how to make them. There are endless ideas! Search online for more games for young kids to play. Good luck.

Maybe have a chat with the parents and ask for some suggestions, some parents don't realize all the time that their children spend veggie out on TV or video games or computers are extremely bad for their health, Running, swimming, climbing trees are somethings that are necessary to have a well rounded healthy life, there are so many obese people in the world now, why start training them for the next generation of fatties. If they really don't want to go outside then try board games, or simple indoor things like hide and seek or maybe cooking up a fun healthy feast in the kitchen

You said that you babysit them, so I assume that you get paid to. Some jobs are boring. If they are on the computer watch tv. If you don't like tv bring a book with you. If they are watching tv use the computer. It sounds like this is the way they are all the time, by barely having any toys.

ok, first off who here said babysitting was easy? That statement is very untrue....... babysitting isnt as easy as some people want to think it is. I have been a child care provider for over 17 years now and kids can be a handful.
Currently I am watching a 3 and 11 year old and their tv time is limited whether they like it or not. Their mother doesnt want them playing video games for any more than one hour a day and she doesnt want them sitting infront of the tv or computer either........plus it isnt really good for them at all to be watching tv all day.
You need to get them outside to play once in awhile whether they like it or not...........is there a park near by or do they have a swingset in the back yard? My kids love to jump on their trampoline and swing on the swing set in their yard. We also read books during the day and sometimes we do arts and crafts, or just coloring in a coloring book ......all of which they love.
Good luck with your crew as it sounds like you got your hands full.

Sit them down and let them come up with some things they may like to do. Tell them that their answerer's can not involve the t.v., video games or the computer. they have to be moving and having fun. write each child's answers down on a separate sheet of paper. Then tell have them each choose one of their activities and do it. This list may only last a week tops so try it again or go in a different order.
The kids are to young to be screen junkies. What ever happens stick to your guns and get rid of the t.v
Fun Ideas: Library (no computer time)
Paper airplane contest
parks
create your own circus
put on plays.
Library's have some awesome books to help with summer boredom and outdoor activities. Good Luck.

provide her her area. you're able to ask her if there is something that she could favor to do, yet be prepared to do something with the help of your self at the same time as she does something with the help of herself. let her recognize that you're there if she desires you, and then merely bypass examine a e book or something. She may change into bored astounding out with the help of herself and ask if you're able to do something at the same time. absolutely take her up on any provide like this if that's something that could sense good about her mothers and fathers. do not problem about her mothers and fathers too a lot. as long as you keep her secure and keep on with any guidelines they provide you, you're tremendous. What really concerns is that if the female likes you because if she likes you, she will be in a position to inform her mothers and fathers, and they might have you ever back. you're able to try some situations providing her activities, yet wait a at the same time as, per chance an hour or 2, between promises so she would not get aggravated. The coloring pages are a reliable theory. per chance you could also deliver beads and string or scissors, glue, and paper. if you're going to be cooking, you're able to ask her if she needs to assist. that is likely all you want to do.

Sounds like their parents just leave them plonked in front of the tv and computer and they don't really know how to play. How about drawing and painting with them? Cooking simple things like rice crispie cakes, peppermint creams etc , Hide and seek, shops, Camping with sheets and a couple of chairs, dressing up. Are you allowed to take them to the park? How about if you had a picnic in the garden? would that encourage them to go outside?

Why don't you try and find a fun game to play together. Maybe give them an activity book. Ask them what they want to do but make sure the answer is not TV.

Ask their parents if there is anything else you can do with them. If they say this is what they do all the time it's not your problem Maybe the parents just need someone to "watch" them. Take something with you like a book so you won't be bored.
