I'm just wondering if anyone has had breakthrough bleeding when changing brands of birth control? I have recentley switched from the Ortho Evra patch to the pill. I went to my doctor during my patch free week, so I was able to start the pill right when I needed to. I had my period during my patch free week and then started the pill on the next Sunday. I guess I'm just wanting to know if anyone else has experianced breakthrough bleeding when changing forms of brith control. I had always thought that only happened when you first started taking birth control. Am I wrong? Has anyone else had this happen? Thanks so much :-)

My gf and I are together from the time I moved to US (2 years back) and my parents came to visit me in States recently. They met her & decided they didn't like her for her looks and her behavior. The first time I met her, we had gone to the club and my gf had a lot to drink (one time thing), but now she gave up drinking altogether without even me letting her. My sister knew about this and also about her past relationships and told my parents all about it. Now my parents don't like her at all after knowing all of this. I have been with her long enough that I know that drinking is not her habit, else I would not have been with her for this long. She has told me about her past from day one and I am ok with it. I can go off and get married to her, but they will hold her responsible for it too. I don't know how I can convince my parents as I want them to respect her, and our relationship.

My friend at work keeps actin' girly, asks to many obvious questions(ex. Why is this so blue?). I tell him to stop in a kind way. (My way of kind is really different.) But he get's worse, he starts to cuss randomly through the halls. Me and all my business buddies (14) are annoyed at him. But we don't wanna hurt his feelings. (He gets emo).

I'm ordering my wedding cake in the next few days and I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for it, general prices to expect, what kinds of cake and filling might be good.. etc.

I'm thinking of having the traditional 3 tiered type cake for just over 100 people or so... and each layer can be different (all with the same white icing of course..)

The icing types are buttercream and fondant (sp?)... Which tastes better?... I know which one looks better.. how much do you think that decision effects the pricing? etc...

Anyone have any good links to pictures of cakes that might look nice??.. or general wedding cake experience or advice..

Help I do not know what to do the, man I have been with for years has started smoking again. Keep in mind that when I married him he had quit already for a long time. And I know I can't change someone or force him to quit. I asked him to quit a year ago because of the fact that the first death that I had experienced in my life was watching my grandfather slowly die in the hospital due to cancer. I have painful images that i could discribe that tor through me but I do not want to think too much about it. But put it this way I felt sorry for the man. I have not experienced any deaths except for my grandfather and now my grandmother due to cancer as well. And now possibly my mother. My family is close and each death due to cancer really hit home, especially seeing them getting closer to death every day. I had explained this to my husband that I do not want to see him like that ever, atleast if he quit it would make a smaller chance. He did and now he started again and it hurts me.
