this one boy in school is so mean to me, and don't even start saying that means he likes you, because i know who he likes and it's not me, he always calls me gay, a low life, a loser, and a lot of other stuff for no reason what so ever, and my friend likes him, so if i try to hurt him, then my friend will hurt me...any suggestions?

We teach people how to treat us. Do not, ever, Ever, EVER, permit anyone (male or female), to treat you less than civilly. In addition, you need to gain more confidence in yourself. If you do not think you are worthy, why should anyone else?

I think this is because this boy has insecurities about himself and by picking on you and putting you down, this is the only way that will make him feel better about himself. In other words, he's only putting you down so that it will make him feel more superior. I also believe that he's only acting this way in front of people eg. his friends, or by witnesses around him so that it will enhance his importance. I reckon if you guys were alone together he probably won't do a thing because there would be no one around to see him gloat. His insecurities is his problem, don't let it become yours. And as for your friend, surely she can see the way he puts you down? Shouldn't she be sticking up for you? Hope this helps!

It sounds like this guy is an abusive jerk, maybe because he has been abused himself, maybe because his parents have not taught him anything worth knowing. Regardless, the best thing you can do is avoid him. Your friend is in for a bad time if she gets involved with him. If she dates him and then discovers how he really is, it will be nearly impossible for her to get rid of him. Tell your friend the things he has said and done to you in the past, if you are a real friend to her. If she is a real friend to you, she will not hold it against you and will reconsider how she feels about this jerk.

I think some boys are not taught to respect women. There could also be something that he thinks you have done against him that is making him act that way toward you. Have you tried asking him, or even your friend why he is treating you that way?

they are losers & they won't feel good about themselves unless

well, u shouldn't be frends with a grl that like a guy thats mean 2 yu. i would try sticking up 4 myself. get a boyfrend and rub it in his face, and prove yur not gay. guys can be stupid like that.

sounds like he likes to try to intimadate people. he prolly feels like a bigger man cuz he is cutting you down infront of people. guys eat that kinda of attention. well you know who he likes and if its not your friend then tell her who he likes... if it is your friend she will learn soon enough. hopefully it doesnt ruin a friendship no guy is worth that.
