Dear Hurting Daily,

I would be afraid if you didn't feel anything? Have the courage to realize these are good feeling that prove you love and can be loved. You just picked the wrong woman to give your wonderful gift. Keep as active as possible - do some new things to meet new people . DO NOT LOOK FOR SOMEONE - that makes you desperate. Someone is out there waiting for you. Be patient and keep busy!

Good Luck

Push them to the side and focus on things that make you happy. Eventually they won't hurt so bad. This is a long process, so I suggest finding a hobby or new person to keep your mind off the other until the hurt goes away. Each day will get better, but it will take weeks or months before you notice. Good luck!

Is it pride that is hurting a bit here too if she pushed you away. Did she say Why?
There are many reasons you still feel pain. The pain will ease with time. Maybe you also feel anger in there as it is for you unresolved. The pain is real, the reasons for it not as simple as you express, feel the pain and then move on bit by bit. What you cannot change you have to accept.

Life goes on-First find out why she pushed u away.......I still have feelings for a guy that pushed me away, and still tryin to figure out what to do with them myself. I was told that there is someone for everyone and u will find someone who appreciates u. Why we have such strong feelings for poeple who don't feel the same about us? I don't know-but time heals all wounds, u'll have feelings for this woman until u pick urself up and move on-just don't let them get in the way of caring for someone new.

Good Luck

i am in the same situation... NO matter how much my friends say 'GET OVER IT' ...'move on' , 'if he wanted to be here he would'.... their advice is easier said than done... i don't know what to tell u to make it better as i still have the feelings which hurt daily as well, especially as i work with the guy & we used to be friends, but maybe some cliche words of wisdom may help..... TIME HEALS ALL WOUNDS....IF YOU LOVE SOMETHING LET IT GO, IF IT COMES BACK TO YOU THEN IT WAS MEANT TO BE.....

** one day the right person will come along and u will fall in love WITH EACH other and u won't even know how it happened and it'll be amazing .....

Well, you need a diversion of some kind, but you have to turn that switch off and start thinking about yourself and what you can do to make yourself happy. The ache will be there for a long time, especially when you are alone, but you are more important and you have to live your life in the present not in the past. Good luck and trust in the Lord.

I understand! I was married to the woman of my dreams for 19 years, she pushed me away, and ran off with a friend of mine (former friend that is). not only me but our kids. That was 6 years ago, you must keep moving forward, it is very hard, I know the pain, because you can never stop love someone. Just keep going on.

Stop being so sensitive. I know we want you men to be sensitive but get on with your life. Go to a strip club you will fall in love again with a lot of girls and you may even bring one home. Strippers need love too.
