I found this recipe online. Hope it helps.
Ingredients
1 lbs Shrimp
3 Garlic cloves minced
3 Dried peppers (chile de arbol)
1/3 cup Ketchup
Pepper and salt to taste
5 Tlbs of butter or margarine
Preparation
take the non peeled shrimp and wash with water. In a hot skillet add the butter or margarine and let it melt, then add the garlic. Cook the garlic until golden and then add the shrimp cook for about 10 minutes.
Turn the heat to low and work on the sauce; over the fire on stove heat the 3 dried peppers. in the boiling water add the peppers and let them get soft.
Make sure you keep stiring the shrimp
On a blender add the peppers, the ketchup, pepper (about 1/4 tsp) and salt.
Mix in with the shrimp for five minutes (boil)

serve this delicious spicy meal with white rice and a chunky salsa or guacamole

Diabla Sauce
Ingredients
2 14.5 oz (406 grm). cans tomatoes (diced)
1 6 oz (168 grm). can tomato paste
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup (225 ml) water (set aside 1/2 cup)
1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tbsp (30 ml) cilantro (leaves only, chopped fine)
1 tsp (5 ml) lemon juice
1/4 cup (60 ml) green peppers (diced)
1 medium jalapeno, chopped (optional)
1 tbsp (15 ml) cumin
1 tsp (5 ml) chili powder
1 tsp (5 ml) paprika
1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
1 tsp (5 ml) salt, to taste
Preparation
Combine all ingredients, except for the 1/2 cup (125 ml) of water in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.
Pour sauce into a medium sauce pan and add remaining 1/2 cup (125 ml) of water.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer and allow to cook through for about 20 minutes.

Camarones ala diabla is, essentially just shrimp cooked with garlic and chile. It should end up being moderately spicy. You could stir fry it, or sautee it

When I would make camarones a la diable...I would blend cream cheese with chiles chipotles in adobo sauce. Just saute/cook the shrimp and then add the sauce. I've heard others say they just use ketchup w ith some dashes of tabasco. Me, I prefer chipotles.
