HI ALL - IM A PROUD MUM OF A 5WK OLD SON. I'D LIKE TO GIVE UP WORK AND BE A HOUSEWIFE BUT DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT! IT TOOK ME A LONG TIME TO GET PREGNANT DUE TO FERTILITY ISSUES AND IM NOT CERTAIN I CAN CONCEIVE AGAIN. I DON'T WANT TO BE BACK WORKING 40+HRS A WEEK AND MISS MY SON.

MY HUSBAND EARNS LESS THAN 10K AND MY INCOME WOULD BE 0. PART-TIME ISNT AN OPTION EITHER (FROM WORK'S POINT OF VIEW). IT WOULDNT BE A PERMANENT WORK BREAK AND NOT A DECISION IM MAKING LIGHTLY AS MY CAREER HAS BEEN VERY IMPORTANT TO ME AND I'VE WORKED HARD TO GET WHERE I AM PROFESSIONALLY.

WHAT I'D LOVE IS ANY GUIDANCE ON HOW TO MANAGE FINANCIALLY AND ANY OTHER MUMS OPINIONS / ADVICE.

I have now seen three ghosts - The first was a teenage boy in the street who disappeared when a car went by. The second one was a lady in a blue rain coat walking along the highway and disappeared when I pulled over to offer her a lift. The third was an old man in my car - he was the scariest. Sometimes I'd go out to my car at night and he'd be in the driver's seat, but he'd always disappear when I knocked on the window or opened the door. A couple of times the radio or windshield wipers would randomly turn on or off or the rearview mirrors would move and twice the radio dial kept turning. Every time one of these weird things in my car would happen, it would stop when I yelled at the old man.
I'm not lying. So do you think the ghosts are real or am I going crazy? I really don't see any other option.

My HDL is 79 and my LDL is 113. To my understanding, this means that my 'good cholesterol' is above the recommended level and my 'bad cholesterol' is below the recommended level; they are both in the range where they should be, but my total cholesterol is then 'high'. What I don't understand is why this is a bad thing. Do I have too much of a good thing? Is there such a thing as too much 'good cholesterol'? I don't really watch what I eat, but I walk quite a bit, my BMI is 20 and in general I feel pretty darned healthy. I need a straight answer from someone who can tell me if this cholesterol thing is something that should concern me.

Well my 9 year old has this weird rash that sort of looks like hives, but they dont itch, and before the rash she had a high fever....we took her to the hospital and they said hives but I am not sure. Every site i have went on about hives says they itch. I have also had ppl ask me if she has been bitten by a tick....i could use some help here, thank you.

Hey!
Sorry,the categorie might be wrong but I didn't know where to fit it in better.
So between October 05-February 06 I lived with my girlfriend in the United States (NJ) with her parents. However,in February we had a huge argument and got kicked out. So we moved to Germany into my house.
There was mail sent to her parents that was for me,it was pretty important work mail. Her Mom actually TOLD us it was there and wanted to send it over to Germany but her new husband just took it. Nobody knows if he destroyed it,trashed it or just keeps it somewhere (but he did NOT send it back to the persons who sent it).
We knew that for like 4 of months now already,but wanted to wait if he'll change his mind and send it over. Now I'm kinda fed up with that and want to know what to do.
Could I sue him for it(even though some time went by) and if, would I have to go to the USA for that or could I do it from here?
We took a lot of their bull**, got kicked out and I really need that mail now. THX :)

I bought a 2000 Honda Civic at the tail end of 2004. I can't remember if my car was supplied with a new battery or not. Shortly after I bought the car, I had problems with infrequent delayed starts. A handful of times I've had to turn the key twice to get the car to turnover. Drives fine. Anyhow, I'm zeroing in on 70k miles, my sparkplugs were replaced at 60k and there was no mention of the alternator after service. This morning my car started fine. At lunch it wouldn't start. After my key passed the first catch but before I'd reached "on", I heard a click followed by no response from the engine. No sound whatsoever. Apparantly my lights and stereo work.

The failure is from the alternator, right?
