when i was quite young maybe 5 or 6 a little old lady whacked me around the head with her walking stick.

It bloody hurt and i hadn't been doing anything except walking along the pavement !

The man said he loved me, his wife is not interested in sex, paying bills, we are friends, best friends, have more things in common than anyone I've ever met in my life, including my ex husband of 15 years. My daughter is 28 months and she doesn't listen to me for anything. I tell her to put something back and she looks at me with this coy grin, then takes off running, and when I tell her again to put it back she says "I don't have to put it back, mom" SHe listens to her dad, but not to me. And that is just one instance, there are other examples. I have tried timeouts, the whole count to three method, she used to be a really well mannered kid, is it just terrible two's or is there something I can do to overcome this aside from just waiting for her to get older?

I never have drunk alcohol and personally think it is a crutch, a sign of weak character. I don't mean one or two glasses of wine which is think is fine, but drinking to get drunk.

This is my situation, I'm short 5'5", 21 so pretty much done growing too. Atleast once everyday someone will be kind enough to remind me that I'm short. Example today I was talking to some co-workers and one told me of a girl that would like me but was probably to tall for me. Then another female employee added everyone is too tall for me. My only reply was I'm starting to think so. I've talk with people before and they always tell me that there are plenty of short girls out there, which I know but it seems that they like the bigger guys themselves. I'm not bad looking but instances like the one I stated above crush my self confidence. Which in return makes me shy because I hear it so much that I believe that my height is the only thing that people notice about me. Now goes beyond the whole guy-girl relationship but to all of my human interactions to almost I feel inferior. I guess what I'm asking of you is any advice, or if you have been through similiar how you coped with it

I got my wisdom teeth removed a week and a half ago. I now have what I call "skin flaps" on my gums that open and close. It makes it difficult to eat because food goes into them and I feel like I'm going to...stretch them too far or something. What is this? Is it normal? Will it eventually go away?
