Give it a rest! The people from South Park and the Jewish Hammer expressed worst ideas and no one said a word...Leave Mel alone! So what if he said what he said...No matter what people try to do, no matter how much the cows from the View criticize him, Mel Gibson is always going to be considered a star...When the few condemn him, the rest we, will sure praise him!

Mel Gibson has been a devout homophobe for years and therefore I've boycotted his products and advise all my friends and acquaintances to do the same.

About this incident of his drunken behavior and endangering the public, I'm disturbed that he wasn't "justly rewarded" for:
(1) evading arrest (apparently he tried to flee); (2) for not cooperating with the arresting officer (resisting arrest) and,
(3) using what may be considered hate speech directed to his [Jewish] arresting officer.
Of course if you've got money and a semblance of power, especially in Hollywood, Mr. Gibson could easily get away with murder.

In my books, Mr. Gibson isn't worth looking at the first time, much less the second.

Prior to this, I was not aware that his father taught him to believe the Holocaust DID NOT EXIST. Gibson has evaded the question as to whether he believes the holocaust occurred by saying his father never lied to him.

Mel, you belong in the drunk tank. For good.

Best Wishes!

just media hype..people are just looking for a story and feeding us alot of bs. Mel Gibson's just another person. Celeb or not, what do we care? He broke the law he has to go to jail, the media hears about it..fine. Go ahead, make ur report...put it in the news: Mel Gibson ob DUI blah blah blah, but LET IT GO! Don't make a big issue out of it. Why try to tear the man down?

Mel is a typical religious nut. Blame others for all the worlds ills and sin like a drunken sailor.

he's an idiot.. what kind of person would drink beers and then drive Pacific Coast Highway? There was a film of him released today before he got in his car after he left the bar. He's swilling on a beer.

I believe it is his right to have his opinions like everyone else in this country. Just because he is a celebrity doesn't make him any different than other people.

of course, the incident should be reported 'cause he's an actor. trust the media to blow things out of proportion. it increases readership, viewership, and listeners.

He is a jerk & seems anti-semite. People need to realize he was playing a part in a Christian movie, not that he is a good Christian guy. It is called acting. I guess he can not act when he is drunk.
