If your little car is in pretty good shape, PROBABLY all that you would need for a tune-up would be spark plugs, Air Filter (if yours is dirty) and a fuel filter. All of this can be done by a DIY'er with few specialty tools and little experience.
Check the alternator and P/S belt, change the oil and filter, and top off the coolant while you are there.
NOTE--> Be certain to use a LITTLE anti-seize on the threads of the plugs so as not to damage the threads in the cylinder head.
ONE FURTHER NOTE--> Honda recommends that the timing belt be changes at least every 60,000 miles. There is no easy way to tell if it is in need of replacement. So be warned. If you are not sure, have it checked out.

A tune up usually means that you have the oil and other liquids in your car checked and/or changed. your oil should be changed every 3,000 miles and your coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluids, etc. should all be checked along with fan belts, etc. You can take it to a local Honda dealer or a service station that does mechanical work on cars. Don't forget to have the tire and tire pressure checked.
At such short notice, it would be better to have a professional do this work now and then when you get back you can learn how to do it yourself.

I am thinking plugs and wires mostly. Definitely get your oil changed if that hasn't been done. Every 3,000 miles are so. I am not a mechanic, if I were you I'd just call one and find out. A tune up might run no more than $100 maybe less. I can't remember what I paid. They basically just look it over and see what all needs doing and they get it done.

a regular tune up consists of changing the spark plugs, tightening of the timing belt and fluid top offs. the best tune ups includes the previous but all the fluids are changed, and the tires are rotated.

well it is to late for tomorrow. but obviously you don't know what you are doing on a car so do yourself a favor, go to a garage that you trust and ask them for a tune up. oh, first off get a couple of opinions from other places and price quotes too. you never know when someone is going to recommend something that you don't need
