How long do patients usually last after they start dialysis?

My dad is starting dialysis because of kidney failure, and I know that he won't last long. I just want to have a timeframe of how much time I'll have to spend with him.

Isn't there some punishment our country can create to stop or deter the horrific crimes against kids?

What will stop these people? Is there a punishment we could adopt from another country that would be effective? Would making prostitution legal give these sickos an avenue to be with someone (an adult) for a few bucks and not take their lives? I know that morally and religiously that is wrong, but that is something that they would have to resolve with God themselves. I would much rather have a legal brothel in town, than have a little girl turn up missing then later found abused and dead. Let it out people -- is anyone else sick and tired of kids not getting to be kids (like getting to play outdoors without fear of being kidnapped)?

Korean Tea Cups!!!!?

Does anyone know where i can buy a korean-style teacup in Toronto/Canada? They're ceramic, kinda oval shaped and have an infuser and lid. I've looked everywhere and can't find them although many websites sell them. I've looked in 'korea town' at bloor/bathurst area and didn't see any. If anyone knows I'd really appreciate it!

Have you ever had a moment when you swore you could actually FEEL Christ of God beside you when you prayed?

Seriously, there have been many times I swear I could actually feel arms that I could not see holding me up through difficult times. If you wish to call me crazy have fun as that doesnt' bother me. I just wonder if anyone else out there ever feels their Fathers love in such a manner.

What is the best system i can get with a built in DVD player and five speakers with 1200 watts, for about $500

i want a new home theater system, but i am confused on which is best, can someone please help me choose, i need about 1200 watts, and a built in DVD player, and five speakers plus a powerful sub. if you own a system with amazing sound and thundering base that you are very impressed with please let me know, thanks very much. P.S. if you know what is so special about panasonic's "360 surround", let me know, and is it worth it.
