Interesting concept about religion being a way to "play it safe". The idea proposed is that if there is a god and you believe, then you win, but if there isn't a god, you have lost nothing.

Except for two flaws.
If there is a god, what are the odds that you picked the right one?
If there is no god, you have wasted all the life you're gonna get.

And speaking of hell, what the hell is this doing in "Trivia"?

the concept of heaven is yet another (in a lengthy record) of issues that show that faith is a human invention. in a lot of techniques, heaven is contradictory. If there is not any unhappiness in heaven, what about your relatives who went to hell? Are you merely meant to forget them, or be happy that they are suffering? If there is not any sin in heaven, does that still recommend no sex, or rock music? Does God enable any dissent on any concern in any way, or does he rule because the terrific massive Brother? What if, in some unspecified time sooner or later for the period of ETERNITY, you tire of worshiping God and basking in his glow? If merely those who "settle for Jesus" get into heaven, does that recommend Moses is in hell? (considering that he got here previously Jesus.) What about the billions of people who merely under no circumstances heard of Jesus? So, some human beings say that heaven is a state of bliss, eternal love, peace, exhilaration, and so on. This seems to me to easily be putting forward that heaven is a ideas set, an emotion. Which in the top is basically what conception is all about. human beings do not trust for rational motives. human beings trust because they _want_ to trust. existence is done of suffering and shortage of existence is scary, so what better worry-free thanks to convenience ourselves than with a fantasy of no better suffering, no better lack of existence? Heaven is a "warmth & fuzzy" conception that works on an rather primal aspect. It develop into primitive guy's convenience and need for something better, and the actual incontrovertible reality that such countless human beings nonetheless count on it speaks to its fulfillment as a meme.

I don't have to worry about that. My name is in the Book. I will be greeted by Jesus, and all of my friends and family that are awaiting my arrival. I will bow down and kiss Jesus' feet proudly and go in where the streets are paved with gold, and spend eternity knowing that for once I am loved.
