Muslims, when in the last days Jesus will come as a disciple of Prophet Muhammed(SM) will he be the Caliph or Imam Mahdi?
Will he punish the Christians or the Christians will convert?

Well, Jesus shall then be the Caliph and Imam Mehdi shall be one of his most important staff members. By virtue of Jesus's calphate, most of the christians shall embrace Islam and there shall remain only some radical christians who shall be punished for the mischiefs. Islam shall become the religion all over the globe. Well the Jews shall be punished to death. Not a single jew shall remain alive.
Caliph Jesus (peace be upon him) shall rule the whole world as Muslim caliph for about 40 years. He shall merry an Arab woman and shall have kids.
The period of Jesus shall be the best period after Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions Abu Bakr and Omer.
After the death of Jesus, one of his sons shall become the Caliph, whose regime shall be the best after Jesus. Thereafter the world system shall again go bad, and worsen year by year.
Muslims regard Jesus as a Holy Prophet of Allah. They believe that Jesus deserves all respects befitting a Prophet, without any doubt - may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

it's quite common for a religion to fantasize that it will eventually triumph over the world and all other religions will bow to it. Christianity has this, too, and so does Judaism.
Personally, i'll be dead, because i'd die before i'd participate in any kind of religious takeover. So many have fought and died for the liberty i enjoy here in the USA that i'd die fighting before i give up this precious freedom of religion.

oro veritis: Do you also believe that Alexander the Great was a myth? There is a lot more historical evidence for the life of Jesus (and he had a bigger impact on the world) than there is for Alexander.
