Your wife is probably allergic to "sulfa" drugs, antibiotics. Sulfate is a preparation. For example, Morphine Sulfate. They are not related. The best resource for your medications is your local pharmacist who can look at all allergies and drug interactions.

Don't take advice from people here. Call a local pharmacy and ask a pharmacist. They would certainly know the answer. I ask my pharmacist medicine and dosing questions all the time.
