The printer and monitor work fine. We had a power outage a few times last week so I am wondering if this could have blown the circuit or something. I am pretty sure that we have a surge protector but I am not positive. The computer is an HP Pavilion from around 2000 so it really is not very old.

i have a computer that lags when scrolling thru stuff like IE, or even just lager folders. i just reformatted, and that was the first thing i checked (it was running 20 processes when i checked) i have read some of the other posts like mine and have tried them all out (deleted cookies, defrag, stuff in BG....)
Specs:
ASUS A8V motheroard
1 GB corsair value select RAM
150 GB HDD
AMD 3500+
just upgraded from a 64 MB ASUS graphics card to a 256 MB ATI Radeon 9550

there are no viruses as i just reformatted
this computer is used mostly for surfing the internet and word processing.
i have all the latest video drivers
ran memtest overnight and it reported no problems

what can it be?

apparently u are only to use this pill short term, well i have been on it for over 10 years and would like to get off it now,,,,,,i get heartburn as soon as i skip it .
i have gerd and esohigitius.
i get heartburn even if i dont eat.

In my kitchen, I have a switch panel that operates four different lights. I want one of the lights to be on a dimmer. Do they sell a switch that has three regular switches aond one dimmer? Where can I get one? Thanks!

She wants out, then she wants in and so on. Only in one place 1-5 minutes. I won't leave her out because I don't want her barking and bothering people. I took her for a short walk. It was short because she is hyper and wouldn't stop pulling and my arm hurts (tennis elbow). What else can I do with her INSIDE that will make her happy AND not hurt my arm? She is a 7 month old Golden Retriever.

that's so true. In the black community, for a girl, you must look or be biracial to be considered beautiful. To me, that's some bull. I'm black & i'm beautiful. I have nappy hair & black skin. I'm proud. I'm tired of the media. I'm not trying to offend anyone but the truth is the media considered white the standard of beauty. I'm not white. I'll never be white. what i'm confused about is why a lot of black people make fun of michael jackson & lil' kim turning white. i'm going to say it. Several years ago, I planted 4 small vinca plants for ground cover. It has completely filled in an area of about 4 x 6 feet, and it looks beautiful (esp. the lovely little blue flowers!) But I would like to thin it out a bit and plant/direct it to some other adjacent areas of the front yard. How do you do that, and when is the best time?

I have heard about the new enviromently friendly sanitry for women, there are various makes and are made of rubber or something and basically catch the blood inside of you and you just rinse it out. Have you tried one and what are they like. Also how do you deal with using them when you are out, ( in a public toilet) you can't rinse it out in a public sink and also i imagine it could be pretty messy. Would it be best to have two of them? I use tampons now but would like to help reduce sanitary waste. Thanks

I currently live (and have always lived) in the US. However, I would very much like to move to Spain someday, within maybe 5-10 years. I'm a grad student working on my PhD in Political Science, so teaching at a Spanish university will be an option for me (though I've heard it's incrediby difficult for foreigners to get academic positions in the Spanish university system).

I've been sort of obsessed with Spain for some time now, so I've done a bit of research about this on my own. But what kinds of things do I need to be aware of? Have you moved to Spain before retirement? How did you do it? Any information will be helpful, gracias!
