I don't see where it would be a disadvantage. You should also visit dealerships and such so as to get better prices because you'll only get MSRP off dealer sites. Plus, there's the added advantage of the test drive which can make a large difference in your choice especially when it comes to avg. priced and luxury cars.

Not helpful...if you try to get an used car.
They (dealer) try to hide the cons of the car.
New cars, Car dealers list lots of great features for the automobile, pretty much of description.

I do recommend you to go and actually test drive the car...!

Yes, it's helpful. Edmunds.com has good information on cars and helpful info on what to check out on cars when you're looking at them to buy. I would never advise anyone to buy a car without looking at it in person first.

the Internet is very useful in providing you with all the information you are looking for.
but never be tempted to buy a car that way.
my friend did so, and well.... it HAD a nice color!
but that was it.

gives you a good idea of what vehicle your looking for is selling for -but pics never seem to be what it really is good or bad -take a chance or look at it in person --
