Well, Muslims seem to invoke the name of Mohamed a lot, with as much passion as Christians invoke Jesus, so I would think that the Muslims hold Mohamed as sacred and deific, which is how the Christians view Jesus.

I have heard that Muslims think when they die, Mohammed will pray for them to Allah and pardon their sins.
Also, you take Mohammed's word over the word of 40 other authors of the bible. 40 people wrote the bible (old and new testaments combined) and their message agrees: that God was going to send a Messiah to save the human race from their sins by suffering and dying. There are many prophecies about Jesus - when he would be born, where he would be born, what he would do when he was here, and how he would die. These prophecies were written hundreds of years before he was born...
And yet Mohammed wrote his Quran 400 years after Jesus died and you believe his word over the word of 40 authors and people who were eyewitnesses to what Jesus did and taught.

Unfortunately, I have heard country sermons stating Muslims pray to Mohamed, Buddhist pray to Buddha, etc. All too often when a mistruth is taught in childhood by sincere people, it is hard to unlearn unless you obtain an education or come in contact with someone who can teach you better.
There are some Christians who take whatever they are taught as full truth and don't try to study on their own. We tend to elevate ecclesiastical leaders as infallible instead of realizing they are human and can make mistakes. We forget we should all study the scriptures for ourselves and pray.
Just realize there are Christians who know better. We aren't all guilty of this anymore than every Muslim is exactly alike.

Mohammed was a false prophet. I'm a Christian and I'd never compare Mohammed in Islam to what Jesus Christ is to Christians. Mohammad was a false prophet. Period.

That I know of, Muslims do not think of Mohammed as a savior. Jesus Christ is savior, as He stated "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father, but by me".

i'm a Christian. there is not any longer some thing in Scripture that announces that a man or woman that commits suicide is going on to Hell. there is not any doubt that it truly is sin however. yet less than Christian theology we'd want to be forgiven our sins by ability of the blood of Jesus Christ, and His sacrifice is sufficient to cover any sin. Sin isn't some thing we ought to include however. it truly is to be hated, no longer dealt with as a aspect we'd want to do when we please because we were redeemed (human beings that earnings this element out they could no longer be Christians in any respect....ie. no longer born lower back....for regeneration carry both repentance and faith.....and that does no longer bring about additional effective sin yet a lot less and a lot less). those that concern God (a prerequisite of a Christian), might want to possibly stay from such habit.....for it truly is an fantastically risky aspect to play with (meaning the eternal state of ones soul). those outdoors of Christ, suicide or no longer, aren't from now on redeemed and subsequently do no longer see Heaven. As to the 2d question....it fairly is established as euthanasia...and it truly is criminal in some places and unlawful in others.

There is SO much misunderstanding when it comes to Islam!
I don't think that Christians really equate Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Jesus (peace be upon him) though. Years ago it was common to find people calling Muslims "Mohammadans" which seemed logical to the followers of Christ, 'Christians' so too the followers of Muhammad should be 'Mohammadans.'
But following someone's teachings is NOT the same as worshiping them as divine!

I'm a Christian and I don't think that. I think Muslims think Mohammed was the last and greatest prophet. Of course, I also think they are wrong about that...
