Some people say that Allah is just the name for God in Arabic, but do Arabic Christians call God the Father Allah?

In a long-awaited comprehensive scientific study on the effects of intersessory prayer on the health and recovery of 1,802 patients undergoing coronary bypass surgery in six different hospitals, prayers offered by strangers had no effect. In fact, contrary to common belief, patients who knew they were being prayed for had a higher rate of post-operative complications such as abnormal heart rhythms, possibly the result of anxiety caused by learning that they were being prayed for and thus their condition was more serious than anticipated.

The 1,802 patients were divided into three groups, two of which were prayed for by members of three congergations.

it was written over 5000 years ago that israel will one day rule the world. how come such a small nation such as israel is so powerful?( now muslims and islamic apologists will hit back that israel is backed by america, but thats totally worng)
i am not a religious person but now i find that the bible is actually coming to life.
could i be right?

Ok this is how it is. People always ask me if I love him, I mean he is my best friend but they are asking it as more than a friends. The teachers thought I was dating him all the time and even our parents thought we would date in the future. he was the closest I have ever gotten to a guy and he was my best friend. He now has a gf and doesn't talk to me. So why does it bug me so much that after 5 years of being close friends he ditches me? Do I really love him because I can't tell???People still ask me do you love him but the truth is I don't know.

i have known this man for 14 years, we definitely connect in many ways and love each other. met in college and i broke his heart when we first got together and have been together off and on since then. this last year we have been steady and only with each other. he's already 1 1/2 hrs away, he plans to move 3 hrs away, he says we can still see each other but he also says that if he does meet someone there he wants us to still be able to keep in touch casually. he doesn't have kids and i have 2, he was my first love and really want to be with him, i don't know if i should con't to take it one day at a time and wait or let him go and move on. we see each other 2/3 times a month, he's definitely single and has told me that he loves me, but is not in love with me, he just wants to take it slow, not know is frustrating, i plan to go to grad school where he's moving next year and not really looking to date, should i just be patient or let him go

I decided to grow sideburns for awhile. They are kinda old fashioned....flared out towards my nose...come down to the bottom of my ear. I guess the current style is 'rectangular' sideburns that go straight down.

Well. I notice I have been getting a LOT of looks from the ladies but guys tease me a bit for 'looking like Elvis'.

I will shave them soon anyway but what do you guys think?

im an adult, my mom comes in my room EVERY single night and sits on my bed to ask me what i did if was suppose to go out. Im 24. I was suppose to just go out for coffee with a friend for an hour and she needs to know every little **** i do. She even asked my brother "did ur sister go out" my brother gets annoyed because he dosn't keep "track" of me. We just had a screaming session because she just left my room because i refused to tell her what i did tonight and what i talked about with my friend.
