he's moving farther away and still hasn't committed to me, do i stay?

i have known this man for 14 years, we definitely connect in many ways and love each other. met in college and i broke his heart when we first got together and have been together off and on since then. this last year we have been steady and only with each other. he's already 1 1/2 hrs away, he plans to move 3 hrs away, he says we can still see each other but he also says that if he does meet someone there he wants us to still be able to keep in touch casually. he doesn't have kids and i have 2, he was my first love and really want to be with him, i don't know if i should con't to take it one day at a time and wait or let him go and move on. we see each other 2/3 times a month, he's definitely single and has told me that he loves me, but is not in love with me, he just wants to take it slow, not know is frustrating, i plan to go to grad school where he's moving next year and not really looking to date, should i just be patient or let him go

It sounds to me like he doesn't want anything more than a casual relationship with you. I think he is moving farther away in hopes that you'll break up with him or whatever. I say let it go and find someone who really wants to be with you.

Ugh, I think you should really let this one go - as you said he's not in love with you so why put yourself through that angst? Move on, find someone new.
