They call Him Christian Allah because Allah is the word for God in Arabic. The Muslim Allah and God are not the same.

In my country,we call God ,Mungu,Nyasaye,Ngai,Katonda, Inkosi,Muya and so on but all this names when translated in English becomes God, without a quarrel. But in Islamic nations ,even to translate the Koran in English, you can do all other translations, except Allah remains Allah and not God .And for the Bible to be allowed entry in that part of the world, the translators were forced to use Allah. Therefore as per your question a Muslim would say Allah Mohamed is his prophet and a Christian would say Allah the father of our Lord Jesus christ .

My friends from Saudia Arabia and Egypt tell me Christians in the region (Middle East) refer to God by the name Allah.

Jews, Christians, and Muslims all worship the same God ... the God of Abraham (from the Old Testament) ... thus, despite the name being different, the "being" worshipped is the same.

in arabic 'Allah' means 'God'.

Islam uses the word "Allah"

In Christainity 'God' means "The Father,The Son,The Holy Sprit" which Islam denies.

Islam says"there is no God but Allah"

If you are thinking along the terms of Father, son and holy ghost, then they call him "Al-Ab" which means father. The whole sentence goes like this: "Al-Ab, wa Al-Ebn, wa Al-Rooh Al-Qudos" which means exactly: "The father, the son and the sacred soul".

Al-Rab is used as a denotation for the word "The God".

yes, and American Christians will back Israeli Jews over Palestinian Christians regardless of the specific situation of right or wrong. I love them both, but will call a spade a spade when I see someone doing evil, regardless of his or her background. Most Americans don't even know that a large part of Palestinians are christian and many are Europeans left over from the crusades. That is why you sometimes see them with red or blond hair and blue eyes.
