Well, first and foremost, I'm a 22 year-old virgin, and so is my boyfriend. He will be visiting me in 2 weeks and we feel we're finally ready to take the plunge. I'm curious about birth control pills, my question is, now that I've started my menstrual cycle and taken the first pill (to interupt my cycle from the very beginning to protect me against pregnancy) from my 21 day pack of tablets, will I have to continue taking birth control pills even after my boyfriend leaves (he plans to visit for just 5 days... after that we won't be seeing each other, and thus having no sexual intercourse within the next 3-4 months since we're currently in a long distance relationship)?

I really hope I made sense, lol.

I'm currently in a 5 year ARM loan at 5.625%. The 5 years is up next year and the loan begins to become adjustable.
I have about 21% equity in the home currently.
I'm wondering - should I refinance soon to a 15 year loan? We plan on being here another 4-5 years or so. Would it be better to do a 30 year loan and just pay extra principal instead of a 15 and not having the flexibility in case of a financial hardship?
I can get a 15 year loan for 6.7% with 1 point right now. I'm just afraid when the 5 year ARM runs out, it will keep adjusting way up.

I am 19, and I have been with my boyfriend for two years now. He is a few years older. We have had a few 'breaks' that lasted about a month or so, but never dated other people.
