If by taffy you mean, pull one over or fool a teacher, yes...I wrote an entirely made up book report on Harriet Tubman and got an A++. I made up the book title and the authors name, tho the factual info was true, I compiled my report based on a number of stories. She never checked and since I had read every book about her in our school library, I was able to write the report from what I already knew. I told her (Mrs. Pilato) years after I left the school. She actually thought it was humorous! That was just one incident...too many to list, but that one actually involved school work.
