it depends if u are in a contest (for say figure-skating contest) then u should have a mattching outfit that is flexible & works with u!
anyways if u are just skating for the fun of it & aren't ashamed to show ur undear wear then wear the skirt or dress..., however it is really cold the faster u go! plus when u know a lot of hockey players & u fall then u might just get (iced or sprayed) some ice on !
anyways i would go with the hoodey & pants!
keeps u warm!
doesn't show a lot of skin so when u fall u don't get cold from the ice!
plus skirts are for more of the figure skaters to wear!

the hoodie and black pants the only bad part is when you down to do a lunge and get ice on them. but for performance the skirt dress thigns unles it is a theme that works better with a pants style. outside i woudl so chose the pants,

I love the dresses and cute skirts to wear for performances but I love hoodies an comfy clothes for regular skating!

i usually wear black pants and a hoodie with a tshirt andea tank top under it cause i usually get too hot for the hoodie or the tshirt

for just practicing and stuff i wear pants and a t-shirt but for tests and compitions (sp???) i wear dresses even though I hate them

I dunno, I wear black pants unless competition, cus its easier to put crash pads in than into tights. (a lot of ppl do that here)
and i just wear a shirt and my skating club jacket. so ur warm.
