the parents should have a say so. moving to fast at an early age is a big thing. gone are the days where a 13 year old boy would work 12 hours a day plowing the fields and other chores boys these days are way to young and have somthing else on their minds other then being responsible. we have been deluged with things that divert childrens attention away from growing up. look at the teen pregnacy rate in this country compared to a country like japan or china where they make the kids work twice as hard on school and expect alot more disciplin although they as well have a rising child birth rate we are the leaders per capita... so my answer again is yes parents have a right to intervene on a child who thinks he is in love when he hasnt figured himself/ herself out yet................................... another no best answer lol

Kids?Ages? Depends on the age and what you consider a kid. If they are older than 18 then they have to live there own lives. But being a child they always think they know it all. I know I sure did. You are the parent and your job is protecting your child. If you think they are to young then they have to respect you. If they truly love one another then they will wait till they are old enough.
I hope everything works out and good luck!

If Parents are involved, most cases parents are doing so to slow things down. Love is not something for children - it takes a maturity to make a commitment.

If they know their kid and the person they're seeing is responsible, no. My mom tried to get me to stop seeing this guy just because we'd go up into my room and close the door. She automatically thought I was having sex with him or doing anything like that, when we were just watching a damn movie or talking. I understood her concern, but she screwed the relationship up partly.

i dont think that they should because most likely wen they were our age they had their boyfrends/ girlfrends and im quite sure they were sneakin around with them too talkin about they are in love. so parents should jus trust their kids and allow them to make decisions and c how they would handle their own decisions.
