there are several things you need to know about this tree
1 is it armed
2 is it acting in a threatening manner
3 are there strange little lord of the rings people living in it
there are also things we need to know about you
1 how many magic shrooms have you eaten in the last several hours
2 have you forgotten to take your lithium again
3 what quack gave you a weekend pass
4 if you are pagan then why are you even concerned
5 if you are christian then well I dont know call it a miracle and promote the heck out of it
and now suggestions
1 as already stated go hug it (but leave your clothes on
2 before you build the treehouse get a building permit
3 be very very respectful or the squirrels living in that tree may decide to raid your liquor supply

Embrace it, as Father Time is crying, because Mother Nature is dieing. And were all wasting life killing them... Its uncomprehencable to most, the rate at which the forests of the world are deminishing, Think of it as doing your part to save the world. Care for it like it makes the air that your breath. Quench its thurst, when the clouds starve it from water. Protect it from the dieseases, that bugs can bring. Who knows maybe someday mother nature may thank you personally..
