Is this a good joke to tell on a date?

Here is the joke:

"A lawyer and doctor walk into a bar. The lawyer orders a martini, and the doctor orders a scotch and soda. The bartender comes back and says 'I bet one of you is a lawyer or doctor'

They ask 'how did you know?'

The bartender says, 'well, a lawyer always orders the most expensive drink, and a doctor...well, a doctor knows that if you are sane and in pain, then there is no gain on drinking on the main.'"

What's the title/author of the novel that is an overview of philosophy?

It's Swedish I think, and each chapter is a look at a different philosopher. The plot is a teenage girl recieves mysterious letters from a philosopher. I read it on a flight years ago, but I'd like to read it again.

why cant some Americans?

realize that if people come to this country illegaly its because they want to have a better life for their family, their children, themselves and that they dont come here just because they want to, do you think you will like going to a place where you dont know anybody, dont speak the same, where there are racist people who will treat you or look at you in a bad way, where you are going to be far from the people you love, come on if the come here its because they are starving because the earn 150 dollars a month, because they dont have any future and their children wont have it either if they keep like that, and dont say its their problem because if you say that it means you are a unsconscious person who just think for yourself and your benefits

seven months pregnant and i want to start exercising?

Hi there,
Im 19 yrs old and 7 months pregnant with my first baby (its a boy)! and i want to keep in shape, could you guys give me some advice on some safe excercises. Like can i jog and run, do push ups and crunches?
I was skinny before about 125 pounds and now i weigh 156, But i just want too make sure i dont gain too much fat. So im just looking for some nice easy stuff that works if i keep doing it. ^_^
And is it true that exercise help the baby come out easier?
