Hi/Hello = Hallo (Hah-lo)
Good evening = goede middag (+oode medda+)
Good morning = goede morgen (+oode mor+en)
Welcome = welkom (sounds the same, just without the "thick" W)

Note: The "+" stands for a kh=sound, much like the Spanish "J" (jota).

stick with English; the dutch people all speak English. (Their language has also a lot og english words)
You won't feel embarrassed since the dutch people are the most open and friendly people of all Europe, trust me!
