Abortion isn't really about pro-life or pro-choice, liberal or conservative, but about fairness and appreciation of your own life. No one can say that they deserve to be here more than anyone else. Abortion should be allowed in extreme circumstances, just as killing is allowed in self-defense, but that doesn't justify it for everyone. Most of the time, you do have a choice of preventing the chance of pregnancy. The ironic thing is that many people who support abortion also tend to support the behaviours that lead to unwanted pregnancies in the first place. It's like speaking out against lung disease and defending tobacco at the same time. And what about all the people who want to have a child but can't, because of age or forced sterilization.
