Indeed. Sadly many so-called Christ-ians mind "high" things, such as a divided God(Majesty) on "high"(Heb 1:3) in the plural and divided law/grace "heavens"(Heb 8:1) and the "high" priests thereof such left/right sides war of left/right "hands", which is notably a fearful thing rather than a peaceful thing;
And when told to "mind not high things" (Rom 12:16) and "be not highminded" (Rom 11:20; 1Tim 6:17; 2Tim 3:4), and to mark and "avoid" them which cause "division" (Rom 16:17) which would include Jesus who flat out said he came to bring "division" and not peace (Mt 10:34; Lk 12:51; Jn 7:43) , and to be not doubleminded (Jam 1), for it'll get you NOTHING but endless divsional warfare rather than peace. Rather Christ is our peace who hath abolished the law.
So it is written "peace" with God is "through Jesus->Christ". To wit: that God(higher than the heavens) was in Christ(the end of the law) reconciling the world unto himself(the God of all grace).
As for the Holy Spirit(God), God is a Spirit (not a Ghost), and the one Spirit one God is (of twain spirits and Gods portrayed), is the Spirit of grace, and the truth thereof (not the truth and lie, only the truth of God cannot lie, which is to allegory say Grace cannot law).
So when it comes to spirits, to comparing spirtual with spiritual, to trying the spirits to know which is which of twain, we are told one is antichrist, or anti-"the end of the law". So we are told not to believe every spirit, but only the truthful one of lying and truthful spirits, which is to allegory only the grace of such law and grace.
We are told "be no more children", neither of the two sorts of children compared in Mt 13 & Rom 9, for children get tossed to and fro by winds(spirits) of doctrine. And especially be no more children in understanding when adults, for a chidish-adult is an oxymoron.
We are told "thou art no more a servant, but a son" (not sons), for servants and children differ nothing, both need to be told what to Do-teronomy & Don't-eronomy, till they "grow in grace" to the point of being "above a servant", which is to say become free of believing every spirit(wind) blowin this way and that way in plural heavens having endless division, endless warfare, no peace.
Folk were first called "Christain" at Antioch, but there are also two Atniochs to sort out, and one Antioch is where Paul withstood Peter to the face, since Peter's hypocrisy & partiality caused Barnabas to get carried away, as if carried to Baby-lon.
Grace is notably "manysided", and can be looked at from many allegoric angles, as if looking at a table from all the different angles, to see all the different aspects thereof one thing.
So it's kinda like a compare-i-son shew(purposed to shew who is the blessed and only Potentate in his times) because the real God is notably "excepted"(exempt) from the shew: 1Cor 15, since He won't put grace under his feet.
Yet, by compare-i-son, by comparing "Son of man" vs "Son of God", or comparing "first man Adam" with "last Adam", or "one man" vs "one man", or "in our image" with "after our likeness", as if before vs after, old vs new, Ghost vs Spirit, etc, it's about what is grace compared to what it's not: law, and what is mercy (thereof grace) compared to what it's not: sacrifice, and what is peace (thereof grace) compared to what it's not: division, and what is truth (thereof grace cannot lie) compared to what it's not: lie, etc, etc.
Not to mention "false Christs shall arise" make false Christ-ians more the child of hell than former hypocrites, fools, vipers, and blind guides who sat in Moses' seat: Law, or Christians who believed a false Christ because they did not give more earnest heed to what was said, in such a spiritual obstacle training course written for our learning, to go and learn what meaneth I will have mercy, and not sacrifice; with plural and contrary scriptures saying "contrary things", but only the singular script-u-are is what's truly "inspired of God": 2Tim 3:16, not all the twainy spake/spoke in time past/last days of a God on high in heavens.
There, I did my best to summarize 1000 pages in 12 paragraphs.
The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

okay, listen up, im only going to say this once...
God is not "the borg". You can resist him all you want, and he will just patiently wait for you to allow him to work in your life to make it more fullfilling!
God is a God of relationships. God made all peopel unique. You cannot convey the same message exactly the same way to everyone.
Therefore, God speaks through certain situations and through people in order to reach people in a way they can understand.
The gospels of the bible talk about the time of Jesus, but all have different perspectives. The bible doesn't contradict itself, it merely illustrates that different people, witnessing the same events, will key in on different things, and tell different perspectives. Are those perspectives wrong? Not for a second. They are how different people explain what they saw.
Does that mean it's not reputable? Nope, God is speaking to us all, especially through the bible. And each chapter, paragrah, and word was meant for each of us, but to gather different information.
A relationship has two members: you and the other guy. in this case, God. It has nothing to do with anyone else, and no one else can interject on your relashionship, and they certainly won't (and shouldn't) get the same thing out of it that you do.
God loves you! You wouldn't have asked this question if there wasn't a burden in your heart to know why you have emptiness that needs to be addressed!
The emptiness is God, and he wants to fill it to overflowing! Nothing else will do!
You're on the right track! Keep it up!!!

The purpose of the Holy Spirit in the trinity is to prompt and translate worship from the believer to God. Jesus sent the spirit to live within us to guide us and comfort us. To think the Spirit is going to prompt every believer in the same way is to say everyone is the same - the same life, same needs, same point in sanctification, and all of it at the same time.

I don't think it has anything to do with anything psychic at all. It is all about who really is listening. We are all only human and fall short regularly. There have been times I have made decisions based on what I thought the Lord blessed and things turned out wrong. It all comes down to really, truly listening and not jumping into something too quickly. So, being human and falling short is an issue, but I am sure glad we have eternal life to hope for in our future =)

Because different people need different directions in life...
Physical connection...the spirit guides people to go to places and presto they met together...and there's physical contact..it's called a church...or did you mean psychic?
They have....sometimes example a christian feels that he should talk to a friend he hawent seen in years...and he follows this feeling and it comes out that that friend has some serious problems in his life....he didn't know anything, jus tfollowed the feeling...so yes there is psychic contact at some point(this happened to my friend in church a couple of times)

Because we live in a fallen world and demonic spirits are at hard at work to muffle and distort the Holy Spirits voice. Thats why we need to pray for disernment and steer clear of sinful situations so that we can hear His voice loud and clear.

We all get different answers BECAUSE we are different people. We all need different things in our lives and God knows what those things are for each and everyone of us. We're not all physcic because we don't need to be. We can talk with other Christians and with God- we don't need to be able to tap into each other's minds.

Therein lies your answer.
They talk, not listen.
That's why they are so close minded and try to kill the infidels.
As for the variations, Knowledge is power. Religions are propaganda. IE Fear and confusion (disinformation) are used to get you to CONFORM. And to get your money. And to justify wars for resources. And to kill the infidels. and to opress women, gays and anyone else who differs from the norm of the ruling elite.
They talk, not listen. God wouldn't have you do any of that crap.
