I mean, don't other states know this as well? Why is it only California that knows this stuff and not Rhode Island, or Arkansas?

she is 43 years old and for the past week she has been feeling movement in her abdoman. you can actually see her tummy moving its quite freaky she hasnt gained any weight but she is refusing to go see a doctor incase they think she is imaganing it. but these abdominal movement happen for 2hrs or more spread out through the day does anyone know wht this could be as im quite conserned.

Me and my girlfriend have been going out for a while and we really love eachother. She's black (we'll really half black and half white, but looks more black), and she's never dated a white guy before. She's my first blk g/f. I notice many theists here often claim that all sense of morality comes from god.

I am in a room with somebody. He is annoying me by talking loudly on a mobile phone. However I am patent and politely ask him to keep it down.

Why did I not simply walk over and punch him (after all this may be what I feel like doing) ?

The reason is simple. Although the guy is annoying me I know how I would feel if somebody punched me. For this reason I do not punch him . I do it out of empathy not because of some god given code of morality.

Why do I give to natural disaster charity ? Because I try to put myself in the position of those who have lost their homes. I know how awful I would feel so I do what I can to help. Again empathy not a moral code rooted in a deity.

my fiance insist on giving me giving me them daily and now has invited two, three, and sometimes even four people to join in with her. I do not like it and she knows it, but I do it because I love her and look at it like a compromise. Since her friends have joined me vision is blurry and I now have a rash. I have a Mitred Conure parrot. It loves my boyfriend. This bird kisses him cuddles his neck. ALWAYS steps up on his hand. He squacks when my b/f leaves the room. He is much less found of me. He rarely steps up on my hand shacks his head lowers his break and sqacks at me. He will take food from my hand. He has only bite me once kinda hard "never broke skin". hE'S A GREAT BIRD we have only had him a few weeks. He is 15 years old,the person who had him became to old to care for him. He trys to nip at every female person we have had around. He gose to males without a fuss. Qustion is is this normal for a bird to pick ONE person only to bond with? I need him to come to me i'm the one who is alone with him the most. My bf is not here everyday. What can i do to get him to be more friendly to me. He will come to me only at about 8:30 at night to go to bed, he is loose all day only caged 8pm to 8am. He makes more noise when my bf is around also he gets very excited.

Based upon my own research, I get the impression that the Atlantis myths, as well as various reports of the Egyptians being attacked by "sea peoples" were actually Minoan refugees. There is a good chance that a large island in the Mediterranean outside of Greece exploded in a volcanic eruption (think Krakatoa), and that the palace on Crete in Knossos was, in actually, a summer palace for the royal family. My guess is that the refugees both tried to settle in Egypt at this time, and were the foundation for the Atlantis myth that Plato wrote down. I wonder if any words in the native Greek sound or are spelled similarly to the Greek for Atlantis. Particularly, I'm wondering about anything similar to "water", "warrior", "refugee", "power", "island", etc.
