For the past 2 years, I've grown up an intense amount, and without the friends I have had over the years, I know I would be dead. Without them today, I know I would have a .45 in my skull and instead of the apt I live in, I would live in a pile of dirt, 6 feet under. I litterly owe my life to my friends.
My two best friends just broke up, I've never been in this situation before, I can't chose a side, and I don't know what to do. It doesn't feel right to me, but I just wanted them to be happy. I don't to lose anyone here, from the time I met my friends, to on my 22nd birthday where I shot everything that reminded me of how heart broken I was for the past 4 years, they have ALWAYS been there. I don't mean to ramble but I feel powerless here, I hate that feeling, I hate not being able to help my friend when they are in need, like now. I know this want because of me, but it doesn't feel like that. I just never saw it end this way. I love you Alex and Brit, and I'll always be here you both

i'm entering my junior year of high school and i need to start researching colleges. i would like to major in elemetary education, so that i may one day become a fourth grade teacher. my problem is that i don't know which colleges i should be looking in to. i live in cleveland and i've heard good things about bowling green state university, but i would like to attend college in a more urban environment. does anyone know of a college that is well known for their elementary education programs? (the school doesn't have to be in ohio, but if you know of one that would be great!)

i am a convicted felon. i spent 3 years in prison. i've been out for 6 years. but i can't get a good job. mcdonalds and other fast food places are about as good as it gets for me. my charges are uttering forged inst. and dealing in stolen property. i am 27 now and i want something outta life. any suggestions? thankxxx

I'm redecorating my bedroom. I was wondering if anyone had any feng shui tips at all? Even simple things like placing a cloth over your computer monitor at night. Anything, from furniture placements to colour to integrating a work environment (computer and desk area) into the bedroom. I don't need to read comments about feng shui being bull, design to my own liking, etc. (inevitably, i will be.)

I need some advice. I set my son up with life insurance. And its the one you can borrow from when he reaces 18 yrs. at least. Now my husband and I want to give him some bonds. I keep reading in this forum (and hearing in everyday life) that being a liberal is a negative thing in the USA, when liberalism is a philosophy believing in freedom of speech, religion, etc., which is what the USA was founded upon. All citizens of the USA are liberals, if they believe in the ideas set forth in our constitution. I also see many trying to equate liberalism with communism. Please read up on these two subjects. As stated above, liberalism is a philosophy -- one that disagrees with government control. Communism is made up of political policies which do believe in government control. Is everyone just not thinking for themselves, anymore in this country? Not wishing to become educated, at least a little bit, about the topics they wish to discuss? There is such a growing gap between us. This country is not an "us against them" nation. I love my country, even when I disagree with its politics. Don't you? Whether a Rep or a Dem or otherwise?

I have a really awesome and unique business concept. I have the business plan almost completed. I need 185,000 less my 35,000 so 150,000. I recently applied for an SBA loan but want to have other options ready if it falls through.

What is the best way to raise this kind of capital?
If I get angel or private investor what percent of equity or (profit) would I be expected to give up and for how long.
Finally, should I be concerned about showing people my business plan?
